To prepare and issue formal tenders and quotations to Customers. To ensure that formal quotations and tenders are compliant with the technical specifications, that the scope of works and costings have been reconciled and formally agreed and that the contract terms and conditions are acceptable to the Company. Also, to assist with the reconciliation and new orders into the business.

|·Coordinate with Technical Design to ensure that the Technical Specification is compliant and approved.
·Coordinate with the Sales Person to ensure that the scope of works are agreed and fully incorporated into the quotation.
·Coordinate with Commercial, to ensure that the terms and conditions under which the bid is submitted are acceptable to the Company when formal tenders are issued.
·Generate and compile costs to form a formal quotation at agreed margin levels and obtain necessary sign offs.
|·Ensure that received orders are fully reconciled to the agreed specification and scope of works.
·Liaise with Project Manager/Commercial/Procurement to ensure the reconciled order is compliant and all costs are in date.
·Reconcile all current costings to ensure that they are accurate, current and formally approved.
·Attend handover meetings.
|·Ensure all quotation records are kept up to date.
·Ensure all subcontract cost/correspondence are filed in appropriate marketing folders and in the correct format.
·Ensure all approval processes are followed and adhered to prior to issuing quotes.
|·It is the duty of all employees to act within the legal responsibilities imposed upon them and the company QHSE Policy.
·All employees are to be familiar with the integrated management system processes and procedures of the Company.
|·Experience of Cost Estimating within the Construction Industry and/or HVAC Market.||·Understanding of standard forms of contract, terms and conditions.|
|·Experience of Tendering Process within the Construction Industry and/or HVAC Market.||·Understanding of products and applications.|
|·Experience of a Sales Support Environment.|
|·Good time management and organisational skills to be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.||·Good knowledge of Baan and quoting programmes.|
|·Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes (Word/PowerPoint/Excel).||·Experience in using Excel spreadsheets.|
|·Good communicator and able to engage/collaborate with a wide variety of staff at various levels within the business.||·Familiar with Construction drawings.|
|·Good literacy and numeracy.|
|·GCSE or equivalent understanding in Maths.|
|·GCSE or equivalent understanding in English.|
