A key role within our customer’s UK team, reporting directly to the Head of Supportability. The tasks required will be based around engineering support, specifically safety and environmental engineering with the ability to deliver and undertake the following:

Core Duties & Responsibilities
• Draft and prepare formal documentation including: Safety and Environmental Case Report (SECR), Safety and Environmental Management Plan (SEMP), EISS report, Safety Impact Statement, Environmental Impact Statement etc. • Perform Safety and Environmental Assessment (HARA, EFM etc.) • Develop and update Hazard Logs • Attend and facilitate safety and environmental meetings/working groups

• Good working knowledge of MOD safety and environmental standards e.g. POSMS, POEMS, Def Stan 0056, Def Stan 00-051 • Degree, or higher education qualification in science or engineering • Previous experience performing safety and environmental engineering activities in Defence or Automotive industry. • Willing to undertake international travels (if required)
• Familiarity with UK MOD land vehicles • Experience of WOME • Familiarity with e-Cassandra • Previous experience performing environmental impact assessment
