Qualified (QTLS) teacher, teaching Tri-Service personnel as Communications Information Systems Engineers in:  Basic programming with Python, fibre optics, Cisco networking, Microsoft Server 2008 and Win 7 / 10 management, security / Cyber awareness, Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS), Microsoft Exchange 2010.

New course-ware and examination development.  Updating and improving existing course material.


Superintending Officer, Provincial Reconstruction Team, Helmand Province, Afghanistan – Sep 2010 – March 2011

Project Manager providing quality assurance during 6 month tour of duty with letters of recommendation from the British Army, US Marines and Foreign and Commonwealth Office.  Worked within Specialist Team Royal Engineers, main role was to provide quality assurance in multi-million dollar infrastructure construction projects.

Network consultant for online training and networked systems.  Set up a trainee learning environment including Servers and 300+ workstations.  Installed LANs over a wide geographical area.  Led large network cabling upgrades.  Maintained workstations site-wide.  Set up first online testing networks nationally in the Royal Air Force.


Army Reserve, Royal Engineers, June 1996 – Current

Construction Site Manager. Qualified to operate and task Light / Medium Wheeled Tractors, Bulldozers and Excavators.  Trained in military communications.  Competed in and taught Biathlon skiing and marksmanship.  Instructed in several military subjects including Counter-Explosive Ordinance, Navigation, and Counter-Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear.
